First things first, thanks for being here. 👋 I appreciate you taking a look around and I hope you subscribe.

Professionally, I have existed at a crazy intersection of business, entrepreneurship, outdoor rec, sports, events, tourism, non-profit, and government. The Outdoors is complex and dynamic - it touches so many industries and influences culture, public policy, and business. When I was the director of the Office of Outdoor Recreation Industry Development for the State of New Hampshire, to keep a pulse on the industry I began to compile links and articles on the most important developments impacting the business and industry of the outdoors. What started as a disorganized compilation eventually evolved into a weekly recap email I would share with friends in the industry. I began to field emails and texts from industry professionals in my network who wanted to be added to the email blast each week. Then I started hearing from people I didn’t know who wanted in. This got me thinking - maybe I should open this up.

Outsider Insider is a weekly newsletter, and community of industry-leading professionals in the outdoor space.
